Not only India’s economic prowess but its soft power will also be on full display at the 48th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will tomorrow lead a delegation of 130 participants.

Exquisite desi cuisine and live Yoga sessions will be the highlight of the Davos Summit where over 3,000 world leaders from business, politics, art, academia and civil society will converge at small ski resort town on snow-covered Alps mountains.

At the summit, India aims to showcase its economic potential, as well as its soft power, reflected in the popularity of yoga as well as its cuisine.

In the Indian delegation of 130 participants, there will be two gurus who will lead daily Yoga sessions at the summit.

“For the first time, Yoga will be performed on the platform of World Economic Forum. Two of our Aacharyas will be leaving for Davos today and will be taking two sessions, one each in the morning and evening,” Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said today.
