Simply before my Sunday night screening of “Marvel Lady” began, I left the theater to seize my pal from the lobby and make sure we had our snack recreation in order. On my means out, I saw a lady about 10 years older than me making an attempt to take a selfie with the photo-op-ready Marvel Lady cut-out that was standing in the hallway. I provided to help her out and take the photograph for her, and she or he gamely agreed. (The sisterhood of random Instagram help is robust.)
After she posed in an influence stance, mimicking Gal Gadot as Marvel Lady’s crossed arms, and I had finished taking her picture, she laughed and thanked me.
“I’m 42 years previous,” she stated. “I’ve been waiting for this film for my entire life.”
