Her latest Littlewood’s range has just landed and Myleene Klass has proven once and for all that weight loss isn’t about eating less, it’s about what you eat.
You’d be wrong to assume that she’s always had her toned size 8 figure. Her weight crept up to 11 and a half stone whilst she was in pop band Hear’Say.
When they split in 2001, her chaotic eating routine left her near a size 16, having to undo her jeans to perform at the Brit awards.
But 16 years on and it’s clear that Klass has worked consistently to sculpt a body that’s she’s proud of.
She said: “I’m not naturally slim. I’m 5ft 5in and I’m not a model, but I’ve landed these huge contracts. I guess because I’m not a model, I’ve learnt to make the best of what I’ve got – short legs and bandy arms and a long back and terrible posture, but I don’t wish to be anything else. It’s probably my points of difference that have made me a success.”

Snacks – Crisps or chocolate.

Treat yourself in moderation—and never use the word diet.
She said: “I used to do that whole thing of, ‘I’m not going to go near chocolate’ and all that happens is that three days later it’s all I’m craving and I just go mental.
“I don’t want to create that cycle. I don’t want my children to have a bad body image so I don’t want them to see me sitting there sucking in my stomach or looking at myself negatively. I want them to see me eating well. I won’t use the word diet. I won’t even call a Diet Coke by its name – in my house it’s known as a DC.”
