“Having this kind of open world game that you explore, that’s really rooted in nature, and finding snakes and climbing mountains puts you in a really soothing space,” she told Polygon. “A lot of the music is linked to places or images I’ve seen that [game designer Gregorios Kythreotis] created. It’s been a lot of fun looking over my notes of, ‘OK, like, ‘cave,’ and imagining myself in a cave with glow worms. What does that sound like?”
Sable is out in 2019.
