Towards a covalent bond – The Hindu

We witness a shift in the narrative every five years and no two generations can be on the same page when it comes to understanding of love. It is not just about meeting of eyes but many other things happen in a room before one realises that he or she is in love (laughs).

As far as acceptance of love is concerned, writers are giving female protagonist a right to say no. The stalking hero is not accepted by the heroine anymore as she clearly says no if she feels like.

It is reflective of the sensibilities of the youth who do not have to waste time and effort. They also have other stuff to do and so do the protagonists of the films.

Love is selfless and it sets one free. A girl’s feminist outlook will not stop love from coming her way as equality forms the cornerstone of love.
