1. Yangon Yoga House
Inaugurated in 2014, it first started offering English taught yoga classes. Currently, 11 international yoga mentors teach there. Beginner’s classes cost $35 per person. There are over twenty classes available each week.

2. Yoga Land
This yoga house is managed by Indian and Myanmar yogis. Aside from regular classes, they offer training for Yoga coaches and will host a workshop with Master Samik Majumder on 13 and 14 October. Yoga Land is open from 8am to 7:30pm daily.

3. Yankin Yoga
Local yoga experts have been running Yankin Yoga for the past two years. Two branches (Sanchaung Township and Thingankyun Township) are now open at the request of students. Except for Fridays, Yankin Yoga is open every day from 10am to 8pm.

4. York Yoga Corner
This Yoga venue partnered with a dance club and is now offering Zumba classes. Yoga classes are taught by Dr Naveen Pandey and Zumba classes by Deborah Lynn Hanna. For the Thadingyut festival, York Yoga Corner offers promotions: With a 3 month subscription, one month is free. It is open from 11am to 8:15pm.

5. Nan Mo Yoga
Famous yogi Nan Mo is leading the classes. She is famous for being able to perform difficult Yoga poses. Her classes are broadcasted on TV. It opens daily from 7am to 7:30pm.

6. Zen Yoga
This venue offers classes for both kids and adults and holds private sessions. Yogis and Zumba dancers get to perform in a hall boasting Indian art on the walls. A seven month membership will cost you K100,000 and there are daily classes. It is open from 7am to 8pm.

7. Thiha Yoga Class
Instructor Thiha learned yoga in Singapore and India and his classes are popular among foreigners. For beginners, yoga classes are held early mornings during the weekend for K50,000. It operates daily from 6:30am to 8pm.

8. Jenny Yoga
After studying yoga in Beijing, instructor Jenny opened her own centre in Yangon three years ago. Regular foreigners and locals enjoy her three classes, held each week, available for different levels. Jenny also shares her knowledge of the art on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/jogajenny/ .

9. India Embassy Yoga class
Sanjay Kumar, professional yoga instructor teaches at the Indian embassy in Yangon. The large hall can accommodate many people. It is also well-known for its affordable prices, $5 for one month, the cheapest in town. Registration fee is $3.

10. Beyond Boundaries Yoga
Both international and local certified yoga instructors manage the Beyond Boundaries Yoga classes. It can accommodate all customers and the place is neat and tidy. It offers Zumba and ballet classes.
