Messam says he hopes to start a trend.
“Hopefully this will spark a fire and other cities will join in,” he said. “I’m interested in seeing how we can create opportunities for residents in surrounding cities to make a stronger region. Especially when you hear so much negativity in the community.”
The next pop-up class is Thursday, July 12 in Miami Gardens at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199th St.
