The process is sometimes an emotional one, she said, as yoga is a spiritual exercise as much as it is physical; its practice is intended to open up muscle knots and chakras, which are understood to as the body’s centers of energy.
The next stand-up paddleboard yoga class will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, January 27 in the Oneonta Family YMCA pool. Registration is $5 for members, $10 for the public.
