(Jan. 11, 2018) Joann Burnham, founder and director of Dharma Yoga Nantucket, wants you to know that both beginners and longtime yoga enthusiasts will feel at ease in Dharma Yoga classes.

“We are for everyone,” assured Burnham, “whatever your age, weight, and flexibility.” Burnham said she and her fellow instructors are eager to make yoga satisfying for students “whether you have a physical limitation or you’ve never practiced yoga before, or you’re trying to get back into it.”

Year-round and several times daily, Dharma instructors lead classes for students of all ages and levels of experience in classical Hatha yoga techniques. Meeting regularly at the Farm Loft, upstairs in the main market building at Bartlett’s Farm, Dharma Yoga also conducts small private classes at its own specially- designed yoga barn and for private organizations and groups at their locations. “We wrap the class around your needs rather than try to fit your body into a class,” said Burnham.
