A bowl of salad, though good for health, has a bad reputation for not being tasty or filling, says a chef.
Julian Ducrocq, chef and co-founder of newly opened salad bar Greenery, emphasized the importance of being creative with ingredients for a satisfying bowl. Mixing vegetables, lentils and protein not only makes a salad more filling, it also maximizes the nutritional value of a meal, he said.
“You feel full and you feel good. You can eat a lot of it and you feel good because you’re getting all that vital nutrition,” Ducrocq told the press when introducing Greenery, one of three stops inside health and wellness hub Senopati 41c.
The hub boasts a practical approach to making healthy living more attainable in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Jakarta by combining food, exercise and beauty in one place. Starting with a healthy diet, a fresh and colorful salad bar greets visitors upon entrance.
