“She has been sedated because she hasn’t slept. She is too scared to go to sleep in case she doesn’t wake up.”
Sammi is being surrounded by her loving family and friends and mum Denise, dad Melvin, his wife Sally, nana Margo, brothers Paddy and Dale, sisters Taylor and Kelly and best friend Natasha Lock, who have been constantly by her bedside.
“She’s given us a detailed funeral plan and wants all her friends and family to wear bright colours,” added mum-of-four Kelle. “She is never a dull person so she wants her funeral to reflect that.
“All the men have to wear bright flowery Hawaiian shirts, She is unicorn mad so wants all the women to wear something with a unicorn on or unicorn onesies. She also likes gorillas so a 6ft 4in friend is wearing a gorilla outfit. That’s the sort of person she is.
“It’s an absolutely heartbreaking situation we’re in. It’s come so quick and too soon.”
A JustGiving page has raised hundreds of pounds for Sammi and her boys.
