RETURNING for the third time to the Sunshine Coast, the Wanderlust Festival saw nearly 4000 people take part in the four-day retreat held at Novotel Twin Waters Resort.

The Wanderlust Festival saw a host of yoga and meditation instructors, musical performers, speakers, artists and chefs on the Coast this year.

Director Jonnie Halstead said 2017 was the festival’s best year to date.

“As more and more people crave the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, a feeling of connectedness to themselves, and the world around them, Wanderlust provides exactly that experience through its remarkable group of yoga & meditation instructors, musical performers, speakers, artists and chefs,” he said.

“Sixty per cent of our attendees are from outside of Queensland, travelling here specifically for the event which creates 10,000 bed nights across the festival period.

“We are so thrilled to bring the event here which has had an average growth rate of 20% year on year and continues to provide the unique opportunity to showcase Sunshine Coast to an international audience.”
