Why do you volunteer?
This is my sixth charity yoga flow. I teach it for free at Barkan Method of Boca Raton. The first one was for a charity called Girl Up. I did one for Alzheimer’s , Hope Gel, and I recently did one for Best Foot Forward. The one for Faulk Center is particularly relevant because of what happened in Parkland. It serves as a way to deal with stress and anxiety and it’s a nice alternative to medication. It fits into what they do – provide help for someone in need when they’re struggling with depression or more pronounced mental illnesses.
