A mother who left her child with brain damage has been handed £50 after she was attacked during her trial.
Elizabeth Wilkins, 23, who was also an £850-a-night escort, was given the cash following the assault which happened during a lunch break of her trial for ABH and GBH.
She was attacked by Claire Moore, 33, outside Plymouth Crown Court but suffered no injuries and was able to continue with the case after the break.
Wilkins was manhandled and verbally abused by Moore who was fined £70 and told to pay Wilkins £50 in compensation.
The attack outside court was stopped when Wilkins’ barrister Piers Norsworthy stepped in.
