Couple who bought former Stonehouse pub at auction want to turn it in to yoga studio and art gallery

Explaining the name, Nic said: “There are three prongs to it really. The ‘print’ side is obviously for the art, the ‘foot’ represents the Buddha spiritual idea of leaving nothing but footprints behind, and the whole word is about the carbon footprint – repairing and renovating this former pub to a degree where it has a very low ecology footprint.”

On Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 of December the couple will be holding an open doors event between 11am – 4pm.

This will be a chance for friends and neighbours to pop in for a cup of tea, hear about the plans and also have a chance to give their feedback.

Matt added: “Rather than parachute in and just open up an art gallery, we want to respond to the neighbourhood and ask what residents would like to see.”
